I graduated from the Pärnu Vocational School, majoring in artist-decorator, followed by studies in Tallinn in the field of civil engineering. While studying at the university, I made a U-turn and moved to the United States. My passion for photography led to the study of professional photography at the New York Institute of Photography.

I have worked in various jobs, all of which have been related to creation to a greater or lesser extent. In 2008 I founded REKfoto Creative Studio. The main focus is creating images for spas, hotels, restaurants, and similar businesses.

I have taught product photography at Tartu Folk High School, and photography at Tartu University Pärnu College, and given presentations on entrepreneurship education to the clients of the Unemployment Insurance Fund and the Pärnumaa Entrepreneurship Development Center. Throughout the year I have conducted several photography training for beginners and advanced students, and been active as an entrepreneurship education mentor for elementary school and high school students.

I am a wife and mother of two children. In addition to my love for photography, I started studying as a health promotion specialist at Haapsalu College of Tallinn University.
